B'nei Mitzvah at Beth Shalom
The B'nei Mitzvah journey at Beth Shalom provides our maturing children the full meaning of being Jewish: Torah (study), Avodah (service), and Gemilut Hesed (acts of loving-kindness). We guide our children in their continuing Jewish education, by participating in meaningful ritual and prayer experiences and discovering that they have the ability and responsibility to make an impact on our world.
Your child’s Bar or Bat Mitzvah is also an affirmation of your family’s commitment to Jewish life and community. It is a momentous lifecycle event in your family as you recognize your child’s first steps into Jewish adulthood. It is also a special and holy event for our community to support and celebrate this milestone with you.
To prepare for all of this, students participate in classes, one-on-one tutoring, family programs, and meetings with the Rabbi. Our B'nei Mitzvah team works with each family to build a meaningful and enjoyable experience that is unique to you. Our team of teachers, tutors, clergy, and staff are here for our families every step of the way.
