What is the Raise the Roof Campaign?
The Raise the Roof Campaign raises funds to address the essential repairs and maintenance of our building. Our original building is now 25 years old and bears the original roof, balcony, several HVAC units, and more. Over time, weather, wear, and tear have taken their expected toll and our beloved roof and balcony no longer reliably protect us from weather and water. We are facing critical needs that require our immediate attention.
We are excited to announce the launch of Phase 1 of our Raise the Roof Campaign, which specifically raises funds to replace the roof and repair the balcony. We have set a Phase 1 goal of $100,000 to be raised by June 30, 2026, and we are seeking donations and pledges throughout the campaign. However, receiving pledges by December 15, 2024, will allow us to plan a timeline more effectively for these repairs. If we exceed our Phase 1 goal, we will start on Phase 2 projects even sooner, such as replacing the original HVAC units, another essential renovation to keep our building comfortable and safe.
